What are the most exciting things you've done since graduating Central?

During my six month sabbatical in Newmarket, England in 1999 enjoyed high tea with Princess Anne who talked about raising pigs.

If you were graduating Central this year, would you still go into the same profession, or would you choose something that maybe did not exist 50 years ago? If a different profession, what would it be?

Probably the same as I have no regrets about how things turned out.

After my post-doc at the FDA, I accepted a faculty position at LSU’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 where I rose through the ranks to full professor. Left LSU for an endowed chair position at the University of Kentucky in 2003. Became Department Chair and Research Director in 2015. Retired in 2022 and moved to Tennessee. Have two children and three grandkids with my lovely wife, Janice.
